OKLAHOMA CITY – Festival organizers today announced OKCFest’s Stage en Español, a free stage in the Myriad

Gardens Sunday, June 29 from noon to 5 p.m. Located on the Myriad Garden’s Great Lawn, the event is great for the whole family.

La Sonora Explosiva leads the lineup, which includes:

The Argots noon – 12:30

Sylvia y su grupo Escándalo 12:45 – 1:30

Salsa Shakers 1:45 – 2:30

El Reten de Nuevo Leon 2:45 – 3:30

La Sonora Explosiva 4 – 5

Stage en Español is one of several free OKCFest stages in the Myriad Gardens June 27-29.

Also on Sunday, the Cox Tent will house a jazz showcase from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. featuring city jazz greats Walter Taylor Band, Carl Moore and the Pocket Doctors and the Deep Deuce Celebration Choir. Artists plan to perform musical tributes to Deep Deuce artists Charlie Christian and Jimmy OKCFest is a premier outdoor music festival in its inaugural year.

Located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, the festival’s main stage lineup features popular country artists Lady

Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Merle Haggard, Randy Rogers, Kix Brooks, Josh Abbott Band, Casey

Donahew Band, Scotty McCreery and more. General admission tickets to the main stage are $35 per day, available here.
