Baseball, Hot Dogs, and…Prom Dresses?

The Heartland Baseball Classic got started on Tuesday in Norman, and Oklahoma began play by facing Maryland.

In the crowd were two girls sporting prom dresses, the result of a lost bet with two of the Maryland players being hosted this week by a friend of the girls.

Norman North seniors-to-be Rachel  Gipson and Cali Massad lost a bet and the payoff was having to wear their prom dresses to the Oklahoma-Maryland game.

Maryland players Justin Craft and Andrew Spinnenweber not only won the bet, they won the baseball game, too, beating Oklahoma 6-5.

Brian Brinkley has the story from Norman High School.
