SEATTLE – A 26-year-old man was arrested after allegedly calling in a bomb threat.
According to Q13Fox, the man called in a bomb threat to disrupt his ex-girlfriend’s flight.
After receiving the call, airport officials evacuated the 5:30 a.m. Southwest Airlines flight.
Passengers were sent back to the terminal and went through another security screening.
Police say they used K-9 teams to search the plane, but they did not find anything suspicious.
After the search was complete, passengers boarded the plane and took off before 8:00 a.m.
Q13Fox reports investigators identified and arrested the suspect at his home in Lake City.
The suspect is facing charges of making a bomb threat and domestic violence threats to harm.
