MEMPHIS – A Memphis zoo in Tennessee has a new addition to the family.

On June 12, a male camel calf was born to parents “Mona Lisa” and “Solomon.”

The baby camel weighs 68 pounds and is only three feet tall.

It has not yet been named.

The zoo says the mother and calf are doing fine.

Both can be seen on exhibit at the camel excursion area at the zoo.

The Memphis zoo currently has four camels in its Camel Excursions exhibit.

The Excursion has been open since 2012.
