GUTHRIE, Okla. – All is quiet now across Oklahoma, after a string of at least five earthquakes shook the state one after the other, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The first three centered near Guthrie, Okla.
A magnitude 3.8 quake shook just before 12:30 this morning, and just 10 minutes later a second quake the same size took place.
Those quakes were followed by a magnitude 3.4 earthquake around 1:15 a.m.
Then, there were two more earthquakes centered near Medford, Okla. Both of those quakes had a magnitude of 3.0. One happened at 2:45 a.m. and the other just before 3 a.m.
