GM orders car dealers to stop selling new vehicle
WASHINGTON – There is more bad news for General Motors.
They’ve ordered dealers in the United States and Canada to stop selling 2013 and 2014 Chevy Cruze sedans because of a potential airbag defect.
Experts say 33,000 cars are involved.
The airbags were made by Japanese supplier Takata.
Officials say a stop sale order is not the same as a recall.
The Cruze is GM’s best-selling car model in the United States, selling 248,000 last year.
