EMSA responds to officer-involved accident in N.W. OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY –  An accident on a high-traffic intersection in N.W. Oklahoma City has caused traffic to come to a halt Sunday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to an officer involved accident near N.W. 23 and Western Avenue just after noon.

Crews are on scene directing traffic, keeping motorists away from where the accident occurred.

Authorities say the accident involved the officer and one other vehicle.

EMSA is on site treating one person, according to NewsChannel 4’s Andrew Donley.

No word on the officer’s condition, at this time.
