Senior professional golfers Dr. Gil Morgan and Willie Wood are hoping for stellar showings at the 2014 U.S. Senior Open at Oak Tree National in Edmond.

Dr. Morgan and Wood are part of the "Oak Tree Gang" and call the course home.

"Doc" has 25 Champions Tour wins since 1996 and hopes to pick up his 26th win right in his own back yard.

Wood has two wins on the Champions Tour, both came in 2012.

This year's U.S. Senior Open will be Wood's first and last major to play in at Oak Tree, according to the former Oklahoma State Cowboy.

The 2014 U.S. Senior Open will run July 7-13 and feature 156 professional golfers over the age of 50.

This will make the second USGA Championship the course has hosted.

Oak Tree National also hosted the 1988 PGA Championship and 2006 Senior PGA Championship.
