EDMOND, Okla.  – Officials say Oklahoma City police are on the hunt for a suspect on the run Sunday evening.

According to Sgt. Dax Laporte, authorities received a called from a subject reporting that a man refused to leave their property.

The caller mentioned to police that the man had a warrant out for his arrest.

It all happened in the 1600 block of Gray fox run near south Santa Fe and west Edmond Rd.

Police confirmed that the man has a warrant out for his arrest but could not specify as to why.

When authorities arrived, the suspect took off on foot.

They now know that the man is a suspect in a homicide case, according to Sgt. Laporte.

Both Oklahoma City and Edmond police are currently searching for the suspect.
