The Los Angeles Times is reporting L.A. Lakers forward Pau Gasol will meet with the Oklahoma City Thunder, among other teams, as he makes a decision as a free agent.
The report indicates Gasol will also meet with the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors.
Gasol is 33 and has said he’s more concerned with being with a contending team than getting a higher salary.
The New York Knicks are also a potential landing spot for Gasol, since his former Lakers coach Phil Jackson is the now the team president, and the head coach is his former Lakers teammate and Thunder player Derek Fisher.
Gasol made more than $19 million last season with the L.A. Lakers.
