A veterinarian says he constantly would warn dog owners about the dangers of leaving their pet in a hot car.

However, he didn’t actually know how it felt until he tried it.

Dr. Ernie Ward decided to park his car on a summer day with all the windows cracked at least an inch open.

He sat in the car for 30 excruciating minutes as the temperature continued to climb.
