NORMAN, Okla. –  More than a dozen children attending summer camp are recovering after a school bus crash near the University of Oklahoma campus Wednesday afternoon.

It happened on west Lindsey Ave. at College Ave.

Norman Police officers say a blue Mazda was traveling northbound through the intersection when it was struck by a black Range Rover traveling westbound.

According to officers, the Mazda spun and was then struck head-on by the school bus, which was  traveling east.

The bus was carrying 38 children, ages 7-10,  as well as five adults from a YMCA day camp.

15 children and the driver of the Mazda were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.  None of the injuries are considered serious.
