The parents have been identified as the Mackillican's.
The mother, Tiffany, says that their child got out while they were all taking a nap.
Tiffany said her daughter, Sunday Grace, was able to get out because they do not have a lock on their door.
Both Tiffany and her husband work at the Waffle House where Sunday Grace was found.
DHS has informed the parents that they will be getting their child back today, along with a new lock for their door.
OKLAHOMA CITY - At approximately 10 a.m. a viewer informed NewsChannel 4 of an infant who was seen wandering the streets near a Waffle House located on Meridian Avenue and Enterprise Way in Oklahoma City.
According to Oklahoma City's Public Information Officer, the girl is approximately 2-years-old and was found in only a diaper.
Witnesses say the child was out there for approximately two hours.
One witness was able to calm the child down, take her inside the Waffle House and contact authorities.
The child has been placed into DHS custody, according to Oklahoma City's PIO, Arthur Gregory.
After contacting DHS, they say they have located the parents of the 2-year-old and have instructed them on how to get her back.
Police have not released information regarding how the child got out, pending investigation.
Both Oklahoma City police and DHS are investigating.
The parents will not be able to get their child back for at least a week, according to DHS.
