Teeth of the Dog- Hole 1

The first hole on the US Senior Open tournament is called “Teeth of the Dog” – it is a par 4, 407 yards.

Bob Barry Jr. says “the starting hole is titled as such because it usually plays into the notorious south wind.  The aiming point off the tee  is an Oak Tree right smack dab in the middle of the fairway, and there are plenty of sand traps around the 2-tiered green.  These pros will have a chance at making birdie right off the start.”
