ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — A 2-year-old boy, who is an amputee, is capturing the hearts of social media followers, as the video of him taking his first steps goes viral.

The video shows a determined yet adorable Kayden Elijah Kinckle learning to walk.

You can hear Kayden repeatedly tell himself “I got it! I got it!”

Kayden was born with an Omphalocele, a birth defect in which the infant’s intestine or other abdominal organs stick out of the navel, his mother writes on his GoFundMe page.

Kayden also had a band wrap around his legs and feet while he was in the womb, leading to some deformities.

In January, Kayden had his right foot and left leg amputated.

The video posted on July 4 shows him using a walker to help him take his first steps.

His mother says that doctors told her he would not survive, but this video proves little Kayden is beating the odds.
