The Oak Tree Gang hasn't come out to the start that they would all probably like through two rounds of the 2014 US Senior Open.
Days after turning 50 and playing his first Champions Tour event, Scott Verplank won't make the cut on his home course.
Verplank shot a 75 in the second round and finished eight strokes over par.
Fellow Oak Tree member, Bob Tway will likely make the cut after a second round 73 put him at five strokes over par heading into the weekend.
Tway started his second round out well, with four birdies, but did not finish well scoring three bogey's and a double bogey over his last four holes.
Here from the Oklahoma State Cowboy on his round in the video above.
Tway's playing partner, Willie Wood had the same result after two rounds.
Wood shot a 73 and is five strokes over par after the second round.
The Oak Tree resident had a much cleaner round today.
Wood shot a stroke better than his first round and had just two bogeys while paring the other 16 holes.
Here from Wood on his round below:
After shooting just a shot over par in his first round, fellow Oak Tree member, Gil Morgan shot a 76 and is six strokes over par after two rounds.
