Oklahomans are hitting the streets Saturday night in the Metro, here’s why

OKLAHOMA CITY – One-on-one street basketball is making its way to the Metro.

What been called “the world’s most prestigious one-on-one street basketball tournament” will take place tonight, July 12 at 7 p.m.

Now in it’s fifth year, Red Bull King of the Rock is a global sporting fixture executed in truly iconic and unique surroundings.

The Oklahoma City Qualifier will follow one-on-one street basketball rules in a single elimination tournament.

Only two and three pointers count in each five-minute game, while five fouls equal an automatic loss.

The competition is open to amateurs and pros alike; however, players must be at least 18 years of age to participate.

The Oklahoma City first place winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize and a paid trip to the World Finals.
