Man driving stolen motorcycle leads police on high speed chase

MOORE, Okla. - A daring motorcyclist tried to run from the law this afternoon.

Authorities say Deontae Thomas, 22, led the Oklahoma Highway Patrol on a high-speed chase.

At times speeds reached more than 100 miles an hour.

The suspect eventually lost control near NW 50th and Douglas.

He tried to run to a nearby home before being caught.

Police say Thomas ran following a routine traffic stop because he was driving a stolen motorcycle.
