OKLAHOMA CITY - The battle over illegal immigration reaches new heights in Oklahoma City.

Today Overpasses For America held a demonstration calling for the impeachment of President Obama because of the way he is handling the flood of undocumented children from Central America coming into the United States.

The demonstration was held on a city overpass. near I-240 and Blackwelder.

The organization's president, James Neighbors, says their message is direct and very clear.

"Our country is being invaded right now. The president is not upholding the federal law. If he was doing his job, we would not be having this border surge right now," said Neighbors.

During the protest, that crowd drew a counter protest from another group.

When members of a group called Dream Act saw the protest on TV, they quickly got to the overpass to stage a counter protest.

"These are children. This is a humanitarian crisis and needs to be seen as that and we need to take care of it as Americans," said Fredy Valencia.

Dream Act believes the children should not be used as political pawns.

"Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but when it comes to kids, it's better to be more open-minded about this because they are children," said another protester.

More protests and counter-protests are planned for the coming weeks.
