Li Weilei says he spent more than eleven-thousand dollars to create the Batmobile replica, which is parked on the grounds of his workshop in Shanghai.
Li said a friend drove his replica of Batman’s motorcycle down streets earlier this year, but was later caught by police and had his license revoked.
Since then, Li has chosen not to install an engine in his car models.
Despite this, Li has created ten Batmobile replicas, using recycled materials.
Li says he earns an income renting out his models, which also includes Transformer robots.
Li used a crane to move his Batmobile onto a street near his workshop, where a curious crowd gathered to see his creation.
