T-ball coach honored with award for kind heart and giving nature

OKLAHOMA CITY – A young man who donates much of his free time coaching T-ball to 4-year-olds is the newest recipient of Pay It 4ward.

Billy Suttles had all the talent and determination to be a successful baseball player.

In the spring if 2000, Billy was in a car accident and he was not expected to survive.

His endurance and the family’s faith pulled the teenager through a three week coma.

Billy had to learn to walk, talk and eat all over again.

He was determined to somehow, someday, be a part of baseball.

Billy now invests all of his spare time into the T-ball team, the Rangers.

Leslie Fillmore’s son is on the team. ¬†She says she is grateful to Coach Billy for the sacrifices of time and money he makes for the pint-sized players.

Because of Billy’s kind heart and giving nature, Leslie nominated him for KFOR and Spirit Mortgage’s Pay It 4ward.
