FREDERICK, Okla. – A skydiving accident near Frederick claims the life of an Illinois man.

Authorities say Jim Yost died from blunt force injuries after his parachute failed to open.

The 69-year-old was taking part in the World War II Airborne demonstration team’s semi-annual jump when the accident occurred.

The Tillman County Sheriff’s Department and the FAA are investigating the death.
