SPAVINAW, Okla. – Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation say they have arrested the police chief of an Oklahoma town.

The Mayes County Sheriff’s Office announced that 75-year-old Clarence William Gregory, Sr. was arrested.

Gregory was the chief of police at the Spavinaw Police Department.

He was arrested on two complaints of lewd molestation of a child under the age of 16.

OSBI officials say they were called in to investigate the allegations involving two children.
