Edmond Fire Chief Jake Rhoades submits letter of resignation

EDMOND, Okla. – Edmond officials announced Friday afternoon that they are conducting a national search for a replacement fire chief.

According to City Manager Larry Stevens, Fire Chief Jake Rhoades has submitted his resignation to city officials, effective Monday.

Jack Rhoades has been Edmond’s fire chief since November of 2012.

Officials have not stated why Rhoades has chosen to resign from his position.

Until a replacement is named, Battalion Chief Doug Hall will serve as interim fire Chief.
