Football is officially underway in Stillwater. The Cowboys practiced a little under 3 hours at the new Sherman E. Smith Training Center for their first practice of the season.

It's becoming customary to question who will start at quarterback for OSU, but after day 1, the majority of the snaps went to junior JW Walsh.

Walsh ran with the first team while Daxx Garman took snaps with the second team. Mason Rudolph took third team reps.

The Cowboy defense spent the day getting their bearings after having to replace 9 players who saw significant time last season.

Oklahoma State opens the season with defending national champion Florida State and it only took about 3 questions before running back Desmond Roland fielded questions about the Noles. You can see his surprising response in the video above.
