UPDATE: One injured after a convenience store shooting

UPDATE: Police believe that the shots originated from a housing project on SE 15th St. and S High Avenue across from the store.

A second vehicle was hit, but no one inside was injured, according to Master Sgt. James Kennedy with the Oklahoma City Police.

Police believe the suspects to be juveniles, according to Kennedy.

However, they have no other descriptors of the suspects.

OKLAHOMA CITY – One victim was injured after a shots rang out in a 7-Eleven parking lot.

The incident occurred at SE 15th St. and S High Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. on Saturday.

According to Sgt. Heather Durham with the Oklahoma City Police, the shooting was gang-related and the victim was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The shots penetrated the victims vehicle and windows, causing shrapnel to injure the victim.

That victim is listed in non-critical condition, according to Durham.
