OHP: Car deliberately driven into Oklahoma lake
TULSA, Okla. – Officials are investigating a vehicle that was driven into a lake Oologah.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol Marine Enforcement Division, OHP divers recovered a 2012 Kia Sol SUV in approximately seven feet of water on lake Oologah on Sunday, Aug. 3.
Witnesses stated they saw the vehicle travel off the roadway and into the water early Sunday.
According to reports, the driver allegedly swam out of the vehicle and was picked up by another driver.
There were no injuries associated with this event.
At this point it is believed to be an intentional act, according to officials.
