‘You’re Out!’; Opossum ousted from baseball game

DAVENPORT, Iowa - A few people were 'playing possum' during a minor league baseball game in Iowa recently, but it's not what you would expect.

The Class-A minor league game between the Quad City River Bandits and the Clinton LumberKings was interrupted when an opossum wandered on tot he field.

Play was stopped until the grounds crew could capture the animal with the help of a trash can.

The little guy was eventually trapped under the trash can near the shortstop spot.

Nobody knew what to do once it was trapped, but he was hustled off the field in a trash can.
