FIREHOUSE PYTHON CRASH

LONG ISLAND, New York – A woman is accused of going on a joyride with a stolen snake and crashing into a New York firehouse while drunk.

Sarah Espinosa, 22, pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless endangerment, DWI, larceny, and possession of marijuana Tuesday.

Police say she crashed a firehouse garage Monday night, damaging two fire trucks.

Firefighters who rushed to help her found a ball python wrapped around her neck.

Police determined the snake had been stolen from a nearby pet shop.

A judge set Espinosa’s bail at $5,000 and requested to suspend her license.
