Rescue: Emergency crews pull man to shore after he was found in Oklahoma River

OKLAHOMA CITY – Emergency crews rescued one man after he was spotted near the middle of the Oklahoma River.

Just before 2 p.m. on Thursday, authorities say two people were reported in the river near Pull-A-Part, along the 15th St. bridge and Shields Blvd.

One man was found swimming  in the river as firefighters attempted to bring him to shore.

He was rescued and emergency crews immediately began checking him.

Authorities say they are not looking for a second victim.

At this time, there’s no word on injuries.
