EL PASO, Texas  – Authorities say a Cleveland County sex offender, who was wanted for parole violations, is back behind bars after being arrested in Texas.

In 2011, 30-year-old Teddy Dean Davis was convicted of lewd molestation/indecent proposals to a child.

Officials say he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for molesting a 6-year-old child, who has autism.

Davis served two years and was granted parole.

Police say he later violated the terms of his parole several times and was out of compliance.

Davis failed to appear in court to accelerate his sentence and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

After a two-month investigation, authorities tracked Davis to El Paso.

Officers arrested Davis during a traffic stop on Thursday.

He is now being held in Texas but will be extradited to Oklahoma.
