Update: 8/11/2014 – We have a sad update on the missing exotic cat.

Octavia’s owner let us know she was found dead.

Thank you to everyone who helped look for the exotic cat.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Her owner says Octavia is not your normal feline.

Torry Leonard says she has been with the cat for about a year and a half.

Spending so much time together, Leonard says she has learned all of Octavia's habits.

"She does the same thing everyday, she goes out in the morning.  I go to the gym.  I come back and let her in and she eats," said Leonard.

Octavia also loves jumping and being active, but she has a calmer demeanor too.

"She lies on the porch. She loves being outside.  She loves watching the birds and catching bugs," she said.

Now this rambunctious, lovable Bengal/Bobtail mix is missing from the N.W. 122nd and May area.

"Last week, she didn't come home.  She wasn't on the porch, she wasn't anywhere to be found.  She was not in the neighborhood either," Leonard said.

We're used to seeing flyers of missing pets.

In this case,  Torry's friend went high-tech for the rare cat, hitting Facebook and other social media sites.

"She's microchipped, so all you have to do is turn her into a vet if you don't want anyone to know.  They'll call me," she said.

She may just be on a cat walk but with her adventurous antics, Leonard is hoping someone will find and return Octavia.

"She's all I have, I don't have children, she's my fur baby," she said.
