OKLAHOMA CITY – A unique new project is coming to the Oklahoma State Fair this year that includes KFOR’s Trash or Treasure expert Matt McNeil!

The fair is accepting the first 50 entries for people who have items of interest that are more than 50 years old for the very first Oklahoma Roadshow.

Entry is free through August 15, and the Oklahoma Roadshow will take place on Thursday, September 11, during the 2014 Oklahoma State Fair.

Just like Trash or Treasure, accepted items will include paintings, sculptures, farm and agricultural items, and everything in between.

A select number of items will be part of an onstage presentation by panel members and all entries will receive information from the experts about their items.

State Fair ribbons and cash premiums will be awarded for the following:

  • oldest item
  • most interesting item
  • most valuable item
  • rarest item

The “Best of Roadshow” will receive a special certificate and case premium.
