Yukon woman accused of lewd acts and rape of 15-year-old boy

YUKON, Okla. – A metro mother is accused of some shocking sex crimes.

The Yukon woman was arrested this week after allegedly raping a 15-year-old boy.

Canadian County sheriff’s deputies say the suspect, Amy Thompson, worked at the Fort Reno Adolescent Drug Rehab Center.

Investigators say that’s where she met and allegedly committed lewd acts with the victim on a half-dozen occasions.

The boy had been at the center undergoing court ordered treatment.

“It’s a violation of every trust you can think of,” said Canadian County undersheriff Chris West. “She used that job to pursue a criminal relationship with one of her clients.”

The illegal sexual acts allegedly began back in February and came to light this week after being discovered by the victim’s mom.

Investigators say the mother discovered Facebook messages from her teenage son about a sexual encounter with a grown woman at a hotel room in Oklahoma City.

“The sex they had was a rape, because this was an underage boy that the suspect got drunk and had her way with him,” said West.

When sheriff’s deputies came to the suspect’s home, Thompson allegedly admitted to the crimes.

Her now former employer wrote in a statement, “Our facility takes extensive efforts in screening applicants and making every effort to ensure the safety of our clients. We believe that anyone who abuses any child should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”

Sheriff’s deputies say Thompson is a married mother of three and a rare case of a female child predator.

“Over the last couple of years our internet crimes against children unit has made 50 arrests and this is the first female,” said West. “We’re talking one in 50. It’s very rare.”

Sheriff’s deputies booked Thompson into the Canadian County jail on six counts of lewd acts against a minor one count of rape in the first degree.

Her bond is set at 350,000 dollars.
