OKLAHOMA CITY – One person was placed in custody and at least one other is on the loose following a traffic stop overnight in The Village.

Oklahoma City Police attempted to pull over a vehicle around 1 a.m. That vehicle stopped just inside The Village around Sunnymeade Place and Kent Dr.

That is when at least one person took off, leading police on a manhunt that lasted for at least an hour and involved both a helicopter and K-9 units, according to Lt. Arthur Gregory with OKC Police.

Gregory said that the car had been stolen.

No information has been released on who, if anyone was arrested.
