OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City mother is arrested and facing child abuse charges after being accused of punching, biting, and slamming her daughter’s arm through a window.

Oklahoma City Police say an 11-year-old girl told officers that her mother, Samantha Abbott, 28, was drunk and tried to leave her home along babysitting her younger siblings, ages 6, 3, and 1.

The girl said she told her mother she didn’t want to babysit and Abbott got angry.

Officers say Abbott grabbed the girl’s arm and slammed it against a window and shattered the window.

After that, police say Abbott then punched her with a closed fist twice on the left side of the girls mouth.

Officers say the girl had cuts, was bleeding, and had a busted lip.

According to police, the girl said she went to the try to grab a towel to clean up her blood, and that’s when her mom slammed her head into the wall and bit her arm.

The police report states that the younger children were in the house and saw it all happen.

Police say the girl was able to break free and call a neighborhood friend and she, along with her mother, came to the home to help.
