Oklahoma State will open their 2014 football season on August 30th at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, against the top-ranked team in the country, with the best player in the country.
Florida State is the reigning national champion, is the preseason number one pick in both major polls, and has last year’s Heisman Trophy winner in quarterback Jameis Winston.
OSU will be looking for their first win over Florida State since their first meeting with the Seminoles, in the 1958 Bluegrass Bowl in Louisville, Kentucky.
In that game, OSU made their first appearance on national television in a 15-6 win over the ‘Noles.
To get a second win, they’ll need a near perfect performance.
