OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City police are trying to catch a man who may be responsible for a series of armed robberies across the metro.
Police say the armed crook hit three stores last month, including a Circle K, Valero and a Q Mart.
The thief pulled out a handgun and robbed three different clerks.
"I was trying to figure out if he was going to pull the trigger and that was going to be it," said one victim Sandra Walbeck.
"He pulled a gun out and he said he wanted all the money," said victim Tin Nguyen.
Nguyen looked down the barrel of the suspect's gun this week.
The thief casually walked inside Nguyen's store near Santa Fe and SW 59th before pulling out a handgun and demanding cash.
"It's scary because the gun is pulled very close to your chest and he can shoot you any time he wants to," said Nguyen.
"All of these have been armed robberies. It's the same situation. He goes in, produces a handgun, demands cash and leaves," said Oklahoma City police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.
Luckily for Nguyen, during the robbery he ran into a back room and the suspect ran away without pocketing any cash.
"He's very dangerous and I hope sooner or later you know the police catch him," said Nguyen.
"He's struck 4 times and there's no reason to believe he'll stop until he's caught," said Wardlow.
"I just want him to get caught. He's got to get caught," said Walbeck.
"He will continue to do it until he gets caught," said Nguyen. "He will hurt people."
So far the suspect has never actually pulled the trigger during the stickups, so none of the clerks has been hurt.
Police say the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact police.
