Petsmart Charities Rescue Waggin’ to find adoptable dogs and puppies forever homes

Oklahoma City, Okla.-The Central Oklahoma Humane Society (OK Humane) has partnered with the PetSmart Charities® Rescue Waggin’® program to transport adoptable dogs and puppies from shelters in communities with high pet populations to animal shelters where there is more adoption space and opportunities for new homes.

On Wednesday, the Rescue Waggin’ picked up 16 dogs and puppies from the OK Humane Homeward Bound Facility for a life-saving ride and plans to have animals transported once a month.

Since 2004, more than 75,000 dogs and puppies have been saved through the Rescue Waggin’ program.
