WARR ACRES, Okla. –  A man is arrested for allegedly leading police on a high speed chase on his motorcycle early Sunday morning.

Just after 1:40 a.m. police attempted to stop a motorcyclist near Northwest Expressway and Macarthur Blvd. when a high-speed chase began.

The motorcyclist, originally going 15 miles over, soon reached speeds near 100mph, according to Warr Acres officials.

The chase lasted almost half an hour and went through the Metro.

Police caught up to the motorcyclist, Michael Stange, 27, when he attempted to drive into a gated community near NW 178th St and John Murphy Blvd.

Officers say the gate was closed and the Stange was trapped and taken into custody.
