UPDATED 8/24/14 6:30 p.m. – ST. LOUIS, Mo. – St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher announced at a press conference late Sunday that Sam Bradford will miss the entire 2014 NFL season with a torn ACL.
St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is finished for the season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The former OU quarterback suffered the injury in the St. Louis Rams’ preseason game at Cleveland on Saturday night.
It’s the same injury that ended Bradford’s season last year when he went down in October, missing the final nine games of the season.
Bradford was entering a critical year for his career, after an inconsistent first four seasons in the NFL.
Bradford’s teammates are showing their support.
