Former Heritage Hall star Wes Welker suffered another concussion on Saturday night, putting his immediate and long term future in doubt.
The Denver Broncos receiver caught a pass late in the first half of the Denver Broncos game against the Houston Texans, and was hit hard by Houston defensive back D.J. Swearinger.
Swearinger was flagged for a helmet-to-helmet hit on the play.
This is Welker’s third concussion in 10 months, and he’ll have to follow NFL protocol and pass several concussion tests to be allowed to practice and play again.
