OKLAHOMA CITY - John Cox has won the Democratic primary for State Superintendent.

Cox ran against fellow Democrat Freda Deskin. john cox

Deskin conceded around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night.

Cox is a career educator and is beginning his twentieth year as a School Superintendent and his twenty-eighth year as an educator.

Cox will face Joy Hofmeister on November 4th in the general election.
