SHAWNEE, Okla. - Teachers, parents and students teamed up to nominate a local teacher for Pay It 4ward.

Second grade teacher Guinn Shaddon has been teaching for almost 30 years.

During her years as a teacher, Guinn has always encouraged her students to go to college.

"Go to college, go to college.  That's what Guinn wants for her kids," said a fellow teacher.

Her friends, family, students and coworkers all look up to her.

"If it weren't for her I wouldn't have gone to college," said Guinn's grandson.
