A recent article on NationalGeographic.com lists the ‘world’s 50 smartest cities’, and Oklahoma City ranks number 30!
The list of the ‘world’s 50 smartest cities’ features exotic locations all over the world, and some places closer to home are getting recognition.
According to NationalGeographic.com, Oklahoma City was once a workaday city that has transformed 7.5 miles of dry riverbed into an urban park (Oklahoma River Trails) and Olympic-caliber rowing center.
The article also points to the popular Bricktown entertainment district, capital improvements, and the additions of streetcars and bike lanes.
San Francisco, Calif. tops the list because of being the global epicenter of big ‘unrealistic’ dreamers.
