INDIA – An 8-year-old boy in India is the center of a medical mystery.
8-year-old Kaleem suffers from a condition called Lymphangioma.
Lymphangiomas are malformations of the lymphatic system. Lymphangioma is a rare non-malignany mass consisting of fluid-filled channels or spaces thought to be caused by the abnormal development of the lymphatic system, according to WebMD.
Kaleem’s mother, Haleema, says when Kaleem was born, his hands were twice the size of a normal baby’s hands.
Kaleem is unable to use his gigantic hands for simple tasks such as being able to tie a shoe.
Kaleem’s hands weigh close to 40-pounds.
