Update: Man wanted in connection to girlfriend’s death extradited to Oklahoma

Update: 9/25/2014 – A man wanted in connection to his girlfriend’s death was extradited to Oklahoma this week.

Officials say 31-year-old Lofton Gray, Jr., is being held in the Grady County Detention Center in Chickasha.

He was extradited on the charges of Larceny of a Motor Vehicle and Attempted Larceny of a Motor Vehicle.

Today he was also charged with Murder in the First Degree.

His arraignment is set for September 26. GRAY, LOFTON AMIER

Authorities continue to investigate 24-year-old Amanda Cecil’s death.

Update: 9/8/2014 – Authorities say the man wanted for questioning in connection to his girlfriend’s death was booked into jail on Monday.

Lofton Gray, Jr, who was involved in a road rage accident in New Mexico, was released from the hospital Monday.

He was booked into the McKinley County Adult Dention Center in Gallup, New Mexico on a complaint of a stolen vehicle.

Officials say Gray will be extradited back to Oklahoma.

31-year-old Gray was wanted for questioning after his girlfriend, 24-year-old Amanda Cecil, was found dead inside their Chickasha home.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the medical examiner’s office has not yet determined Cecil’s cause of death.

We have new details surrounding the murder of a Chickasha woman and the search for her boyfriend.

The Grady County Sheriff's Office said they located the man wanted for questioning.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, a family member found Cecil dead inside her home in the 1200 block of Choctaw Avenue, where she lived with her boyfriend, 31-year-old Lofton Amier Gray.

Lofton was found Saturday evening in a New Mexico hospital.

He had been involved in a road rage incident, according to authorities.

An OSBI agent is there interviewing Lofton.

CHICKASHA, Okla. - A body was found inside a Chickasha home Friday morning.

According to authorities, police found 24-year-old Amanda Cecil's body a little after 11 a.m.

The Chickasha Police Department requested that the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation assist with the investigation.

According to the Chickasha Express Star, the case is being investigated as a possible homicide.

OSBI says Cecil lived with her boyfriend, 31-year-old Lofton Gray Jr.

Investigators would like to speak with Gray to see if he can provide them with information as to what may have happened to Cecil.

Officials say Gray is a light-skinned black male, who is 6'4" and weighs approximately 186 pounds.

He may be driving a white 1991 Jeep Cherokee with a primer gray hood and fender.
