The 2014 NFL season is here and Facebook has taken a look at team spirit across the U.S. for NFL fans.
The Facebook data team evaluated total interactions and top social moments from Thursday night’s NFL opener.
Each county is color-coded based on which NFL team page has the most Facebook ‘Likes” by people who live in that county.
You can see some team, including the Cowboys, have a heavy presence in the same area as the team, but also have pockets of fans all over the country, too. Some teams, including the Steelers, Cowboys, and Packers, seem to transcend geography, with pockets of fans all over the country.
