NORMAN, Okla.  – The University of Oklahoma football team will be without its leading rusher when they play West Virginia this weekend.

On Monday, Sooners head coach Bob Stoops said Keith Ford, a sophomore, has a slight fracture in his ankle, and will be out for 2-3 weeks.

Ford was injured in Saturday’s Oklahoma win over Tennessee 34-10.

Ford is OU’s third-leading receiver with 100 yards.

4th-ranked Oklahoma will have to rely on freshman Samaje Perine and sophomore Alex Ross while Ford is sidelined.
