MIDWEST CITY, Okla. - A family in Midwest City says they are trying to track down the person who stole a travel trailer from their driveway in broad daylight.

Lauri says her travel trailer was not just a vehicle, but something that held precious memories of her family.

"It was a nice thing to do with the family, to take them out to the lake," Lauri said.

However, the camper went missing after thieves stole it from her driveway in broad daylight.

Midwest City police say thieves pulled up to the home in the 100 block of Oak St. and were able to get away with the travel trailer in less than five minutes.

"There used to be a camper sitting right there, and I came home the other day and it was gone," Lauri's neighbor said.

On Sept. 29, authorities say a pickup truck backed into Lauri's driveway and pulled up to the camper.

The entire crime was captured on a neighbor's home security camera.

In less than two minutes, the alleged thieves and the $5,500 trailer were gone.

Midwest City police are looking for a late 1990s model gold or silver truck that looks like it may have some damage on the front end.
